My hubby and I went there just before Ramadaan on their winter special. It rained both days but the hot springs were divine! In between we discovered the Caledon botanical Garden on the N1 just before the Caledon turn-off. Its well worth a visit. The lack of eating options in Caledon, we found very disappointing. Besides a Wimpy and a small pizza outlet in the mall, there is virtually nowhere else to eat. We had actually asked around. In the end, we opted for a well-prepared calamari meal at the hotel.calamari

Hi Soraya, thanks for the comment! I will definitely look into their Winter Special next year. It is heavenly to relax in the heated pools when it’s cold out (although I really like the cool pool too). I didn’t know Caledon had botanical gardens! I wasn’t there long enough to explore the town. Shocking that they have so few eating options. Especially, when you’re not in self-catering accommodation and are forced to eat out. Rif
